The Data Science minor requires an extra step to certify your minor.

Step 1

Apply to graduate with your major adviser. At this time they will add your Data Science minor to your graduation application. You can apply to graduate up to 3 quarters before you plan to graduate. Applications must be submitted no later than the third Friday of the quarter you plan to graduate.

Step 2

Wait - During your last quarter at UW, around week 4 (regardless of when you submitted your graduation application), our staff will manually go through and certify your minor as complete. If a problem is identified you will be contacted. There is no additional steps or follow-up needed on your part. Once this process is completed, you will receive an email and section 5 of the minor degree audit to appear as 'OK'.
