Declaring the Minor

Any undergraduate student currently declared in a major and who has completed at least 45 credits can declare the minor. To declare, please reach out to your major departmental adviser, not the data science minor advisers. 

Fall Advising (9/24 - 12/5)

The Data Science Minor will host drop-in advising Monday-Thursday at the times listed below. Drop-in advising is virtual only. 

• Monday: 1 - 2 PM 
• Tuesday: 11 AM - 12 PM
• Wednesday: 3 - 4 PM (11/26 CANCELLED)
• Thursday: 1:30 - 2:30 PM 

During finals week and over winter break, Data Science Minor advising will operate on an email only basis! Please send your questions to dataminor@uw.edu.

Drop-In Procedure

1. Fill out the check-in form to let us know you are here.
2. Once you submit the form, you will see a confirmation page on your browser with the Zoom link. Please log in with your UW Net ID.
3. We will see students in the order they check in. Wait times may vary. You will be admitted from the waiting room when it is your turn to meet with an adviser. Conversations will be limited to 10 minutes max.
